StampName by Quan Dang

Need help? Write to founder@stampname.app. Include your Mac's macOS version and, for license questions, the email you bought with. Please do not send invoices or other documents.

Are my documents uploaded anywhere?

No. StampName reads and names your files on your Mac. The Mac App Store build cannot connect to the internet. The direct-download build contacts the license server only to activate and check your license key, and never sends document content. See the Privacy Policy.

I bought on this website. Where is my license key?

Polar emails it to the address you used at checkout, usually within a minute. Check spam. Then open StampName, go to Settings, choose License, paste the key and choose Activate. If it has not arrived, write to us with your order email.

How many Macs can I use my key on?

Up to 3. To move a key, open Settings, choose License and use Deactivate this Mac on the old Mac, then activate on the new one. If you no longer have the old Mac, write to us.

Pro turned off, or the app says my license is not valid.

The app checks your key at launch and about once a day. If you are offline it keeps working for up to 14 days after the last successful check. A refunded order, a revoked key or an ended yearly subscription locks the app. Reconnect and reopen the app, or contact us.

Can I undo a rename?

Yes. StampName keeps a local journal of your renames. Undo is always free.

How do I get a refund?

For purchases from this website, write to us within 14 days of purchase with your order email and we will refund through Polar. For App Store purchases, Apple handles refunds: see Apple's refund guide.

How do I cancel the yearly subscription?

For purchases from this website, use the link in your Polar receipt email or write to us. App Store subscriptions are cancelled in your Apple ID settings: see Apple's guide.

How do I restore an App Store purchase?

Use Restore Purchases in StampName while signed in with the Apple ID used for the purchase. Restoring is free.
